Erebus Guide
Alright my friends, it’s recently been pointed out to me that I should share my Erebus strategies with the guild. Any of you are of course welcome to chat with me ingame when I’m on Shukushi or Tsyua but if I’m not around here you go.
First off, there’s no guarantee you’ll get above 600 but that’s usually my goal for the 2m bonus. I’ve ranged from 400-826 on my scores.
Now a few useful facts. There are four Erebus difficulties each with three levels. If you want to be sure of downing the final boss, you’ll want your BR to be around the following.
Normal Level 1: 55k Normal Level 2: 80k Normal Level 3: 95k
Nightmare Level 1: 155k Nightmare Level 2: 190k Nightmare Level 3: 220k
Purgatory Level 1: 260k Purgatory Level 2: 290k Purgatory Level 3: 325k
Hell Level 1: 325k to be safe, or some nice red level gear
Now on to the fun stuff. First off, here is an example of the the basic map. Every time you play objects are randomly placed.

There are definitely priorities for what you want to pick up.
Getting Guidance is lovely (reveals the map) but sometimes it’s one blasted square from the boss right? I’ll show you a few paths in a bit so you shouldn’t need it as much.
The point order is pretty clear but I’ll break it down here.
Omniscient – 50 point quiz. You absolutely must get these. After that in order of importance- Strong Enemy (30pts), Divine Leap (10-30 points + extra movement), Boss (18pts), Pass (15pts, an extra skip), Creation (15pts, extra life), Treasure (10pts, extra loot), Enemy encounter (10pts), and Spire (10pts). In general, don’t go out of your way for anything else on the board.
Ok now to the paths you can follow. There are 3 different basic patterns to follow. You’ll end up wandering a bit if you see something right next to you, but try to remember where you broke the pattern so you can get back to it.
