So many Sexy Ladies to choose from, which will you pick?
Intially it's easy right? Nocturna then Marina or Glacia, then Boadicea. As you get more angels, focus on which halos will be best. As you change angels, be aware you may need to change party formation slightly. Always check to see what the top level skills and halos will be. Sometimes angels only have 5 buff slots, some have 6. Some skills will have extra effects (maybe they can't be dodged, or reduce enemy hit or agility or increase your attack). Some angels may also do extra damage. If so, under angel stats you will see fire damage +50 for instance.
Stronger and more deadly
Picking the angel is easy, dropping tears and seraph's stones is straight forward if you keep a few things in mind.
1) Bonding- Angel tears level the angel's base stats. As you level the angel you also have a chance to get various amounts of prestige, different level holy crystals, and of course angel experience.
2) As you level, the angel will require 30 holy crystals to breakthrough to the next rank. Upgrading the angel allows to you continue leveling (until max for that angel), increases the halo/ability level, and gives a nice BR/stat boost
3) Angel evolution (starts with common (zero stars), increases until ungodly at 9 stars (I've heard talk of adding more, the number of stones needed to upgrade gives me nightmares.
Keep in mind evolving uses a random number of stones so there's no firm number. Sometimes she's a greedy bitch and the globe fills before she levels, sometimes it happans at 45%. Here's are some general numbers for you though.
1) Common to Uncommom - 10 seraphs
2) Uncommon to Rare - 33 seraphs
3) Rare to Epic - 112 seraphs
4) Epic to Legendary - 336 seraphs
5) Legendary to Mythic - 640 seraphs
6) Mythic to Celestial - 1642 seraphs (first five evolved at 50%-ish... this one was at 80%)
7) Celestial to Majestic - 4410 seraphs
8) Majestic to Unearthly - 7832 seraphs
9) Unearthly to ungodly - 14638 seraphs
10) Ungodly to something - a truely horrific and terrifying number if the pattern holds true. 40k maybe 65k?
You may also choose to do the "Perfect Evolve". First you must have the right level angel mark. These are typically found as rewards in hot events for hitting a certain ranking or spending many diamonds.
4) Angels can inherit. The question is do you want to or not? The main benefit of inheriting is that it saves you angel tears. The main downside? It will reset the angel you have to green level 1 and you have to still use holy crystals to level her. Resetting the first angel may also destroy your covenants and you'll need both tears and crystals to rebuild. I'd say it's usually better to wait and level her slowly (unless you're talking inheriting from unearthly/ungodly and you want to deploy the new one asap) but it's up to you.
5) So what is this covenant thing you might be destroying?
Each angel has one or move covenants or pacs with other angels in the game. Simply go to covenants, select the angel, and roll over each ability.
6) Worship - One-click worship your angels daily. Why? Because they have tasty delicious buffs that increase your damage and surviability. Buffs stack, you can get 3% dodge from Nyssa, 4% from vienna, and 5% from Isolde. Trust me, it's worth it. Try to save up and do the 5 day buffs (you save 66% that way)

VERY IMPORTANT - Aoede will revert back to level one, common rapture and her base advancement (orange).
Styx is already 40, Aoede's experince will not stack it overwrites so you loose holy crystals and a fair amount of tears this way. However, you would immediately have a level 60 styx. (better to inherit to a level one of course).
